Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading healthcare location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. In this people-first role, you will support staff, visitors, and patients with strong customer service and communication while contributing to a caring, reliable team that values agility, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor processing, badge verification, and/or screening procedures in alignment with site protocols for a healthcare environment.
• Support daily operations by reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations, and by providing clear directions and assistance to people throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
