Physical Therapist - Outpatient Ortho

Location: Covington, GA

Assignment Duration: This is a 90-day contract position.

Schedule: 8-hour Day Shift, with a commitment of 36 hours guaranteed, with the expectation of working up to 40 hours. Overtime must be approved by the director.

Job Description: We are seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient orthopedic setting. Candidates with outpatient experience are preferred, but new graduates and first-time travelers are welcome to apply. The role includes performing evaluations, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapy interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide quality physical therapy services to outpatient orthopedic patients.
• Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patient function and mobility.
• Manage a productivity expectation of 60 visits per week, with the ability to see 12-14 patients daily.
• Facilitate double-booking for follow-up visits as required.
• Float to other clinics as needed (Covington #537B & Covington #165A).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Valid Physical Therapist license or PTA certification.
• Outpatient experience preferred, but not required.
• Willingness to work at neighboring clinics as part of a travel team.
