Our client builds autonomous robotic systems for defense and national security, combining AI, computer vision and precision control. The product is fielded with US government customers, the company is backed by leading venture investors, and the team is growing because demand is outpacing engineering capacity.
What you'll own
- Real-time C++ on embedded Linux, running on hardware that deploys
- Perception and tracking pipelines, computer vision and sensor fusion under live conditions
- Precision motion control where the error budget is tight and the target is moving
- The full loop: simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, field testing, then back into the code
- Architecture decisions that carry into everything the team ships next
What we're looking for
- 5+ years shipping software on real robotic or embedded systems, not just simulations
- Strong modern C++, comfortable in Python, comfortable at the hardware boundary
- Background in perception, controls, CV or real-time systems
- Someone who wants to be there when it runs, not reading a test report afterwards
- Must be a US Citizen
