LPN - Behavioral Health

Behavioral Health/Psych LPN

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shifts: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00), weekdays, every other weekend.

The Behavioral Health/Psych LPN will provide care to adult patients in a behavioral health setting. The LPN will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure the delivery of quality patient care and adhere to all state regulations and institutional policies.

Responsibilities:

Administer medications and provide treatments as prescribed.
Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the nursing staff.
Assist in the assessment and evaluation of patient needs.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Support patients in therapeutic activities and promote mental wellness.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Current LPN license in West Virginia or compact license.
BCLS, CPI, and First Aid certifications are required; CPI/First Aid can be obtained during orientation.
