• Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
• Saturday, 2.5 hours (morning help getting up and evening help getting to bed)
• Sunday, 2.5 hours, evening, flexible on exact start time

About This Case

We are hiring one caregiver for a single client in Lancaster who uses a wheelchair. This is a light, focused case. The main need is help with bathing and getting dressed during the weekday evening visits, plus help getting up on Saturday morning and getting settled into bed at night. It is a good fit for someone who wants steady, predictable hours with the same person every week rather than driving all over the county.

What You Will Do

• Assist with bathing and personal hygiene
• Assist with dressing and grooming
• Assist with transfers between the wheelchair, bed, and bath
• Assist with the morning routine on Saturday and the evening routine getting to bed
• Assist with toileting and incontinence care as needed
• Report any changes in the client's health, needs, or living conditions to the office
• Clock in and out for each visit according to the client's schedule

What We Are Looking For

• Reliable, dependable, and on time for every shift
• Comfortable assisting a client who uses a wheelchair, including safe transfers
• Patient, respectful, and genuinely caring
• Able to communicate clearly with the client, the family, and our office staff
• Comfortable working independently in a client's home

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and SLED check
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Current TB test or willingness to complete one before starting
• Ability to lift and assist a client with transfers

No certification is required. We will train the right person. CNA, PCA, HHA, or caregiving experience is a plus but not necessary.
