Description

Superior Electrical and Plumbing, Inc. is a provider of skilled commercial construction and services, specializing in retail, grocery, and convenience store projects. We deliver excellence in commercial new construction, tenant improvements, and remodels, supported by 24/7 emergency response and preventative maintenance programs.

We are seeking Commercial Plumbers to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of recent commercial plumbing experience in new construction or tenant improvement projects. A company vehicle and gas card are provided to support travel between job sites and field operations. This role requires schedule flexibility, as some projects are completed during overnight hours, while others are scheduled during daytime hours.

• Monday - Friday (day)
• Sunday - Thursday (nights)
• Overtime available but not guaranteed
• Travel opportunities available

Responsibilities

• Demo and replace plumbing piping, including PVC, ABS, cast iron (no-hub), and/or copper
• Mount new fixtures and trim according to manufacturer specifications and applicable municipal codes
• Install and repair grease traps, sump pumps, sanitary waste systems, water systems, and utilities within a commercial retail environment
• Complete light construction repairs or installations on concrete, asphalt, drywall, tile and trim
• Perform manual labor to clean and prepare jobsites, including (but not limited to) digging trenches, setting braces to support excavation sides, erecting scaffolding, and removing rubble, debris, and other waste materials
• Properly use equipment such as jackhammers and saw cutters
• Read and layout work from blueprints, plans, and isometric drawings
• Work in accordance with current OSHA safety guidelines and company policies
• Drive company issued vehicles in accordance with company policies
• Accurately record commute and travel time as required. Technicians may be eligible for paid drive time upon meeting qualification requirements
• Willingness to take on additional duties as needed to support the department
• Minimum of four years of recent and relevant commercial plumbing experience

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of recent and relevant commercial plumbing experience
• Journeyman Hawaiian Plumbing license desired but not required
• Valid driver license with no more than two points or driving restrictions on the driving record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Verbal and written English literacy for the use of cell phone and mobile email communication
