About This Role The RN Ambulatory - Dermatology, Float position at Cleveland Clinic involves providing professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting, with responsibilities including patient assessments, medication administration, and support for specialized procedures. This role is ideal for nurses who are adaptable and can float between different clinics. Highlights Pay: $41.00/hour Location: Avon, OHFacility: Richard E. Jacobs Health Center Schedule: Per Diem, Variable shifts What You'll Do Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting. Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage, and establish care plans. Administer medications and treatments. Initiate CPR and other emergency measures. Notify the physician and/or Licensed Independent Provider (LIP) of abnormal findings. Assist with specialized diagnostic procedures, therapeutic procedures, and specialized patient care equipment. Develop, evaluate, adapt, and document health education and provide it to patients and families. Cover other nursing roles within the department. Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures, as needed. Requirements Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing Experience: One year of recent experience as an RN Will consider LPN, Medical Assistant, and/or other unlicensed clinical healthcare experience in substitution of RN experience for current Cleveland Clinic caregivers Licenses & Certifications: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross Benefits Comprehensive healthcare, dental, and vision benefits Retirement savings account contributions About Cleveland Clinic Cleveland Clinic is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
