SENIOR TAX ACCOUNTANTS
MUST HAVE DIRECT EXPERIENCE PUBLIC ACCOUNTING
Location: Bergen County, NJ
Our client is a prestigious, multi-location wealth management and financial services firm seeking a full-time Senior Tax Accountant . Due to a recent acquisition, they are expanding and need experienced CPA professionals who can manage all aspects of accounting work, from write-up to tax return preparation.
Key Opportunity – Tax Professional
- CPA required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 3+ years of recent public accounting experience
- Able to handle full-scope accounting work, from write-up through tax preparation
- Proficient in Accounting CS, UltraTax CS, and Fixed Assets CS
- Strong knowledge of payroll and sales tax laws
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients
Responsibilities:
- Maintain corporate financial records and perform full-scope tax accounting for individuals and businesses
- Prepare individual, trust, estate, corporate, and partnership tax returns
- Record journal entries, depreciation, and adjustments based on tax returns
- Prepare tax-based financial statements and research/respond to tax-related inquiries
