Senior Accountant

Great opportunity with a growing, PE owned, manufacturing client in Aledo, TX. This role has real growth opportunities into the Accounting Manager role. This is not simply a transactional role, but an opportunity to build processes and own them. What You’d Own: Month-end close - own assigned close tasks, and help move topside workbook adjustments into real QBO journal entries instead of an off-books spreadsheet System data reconciliation – tie together disconnected system data to ensure completeness and accuracy Multi-plant reporting - help pull four plants’ worth of data into one clean, repeatable P&L Process ownership – document and fix processes Controls – help roll out an approval workflow across the business Other – provide normal AP / AR / GL backstop work as needed; it’s not the main part of the role, but it is a necessary function What We’re Looking For: 3-6 years in accounting, ideally with some multi-entity or multi-location exposure A real example of building or redesigning a process – not just following one someone else wrote Comfortable working across systems that don’t talk to each other Strong in Excel; comfortable in QuickBooks Online or similar Nice to Have: Small company, PE-backed, or construction/industrial background Costing/inventory exposure in a manufacturing or production setting What Good Looks Like After 6 Months: Owns a full close or reconciliation process end-to-end, unsupervised Has taken several items that lived off-books or in someone’s heads and turned them into real, documented processes #J-18808-Ljbffr S+H Search
