Job Title

Travel RN – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

Location

Wichita, Kansas

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 15-bed Level II Trauma Pediatric ICU at a 2:1 patient ratio
• Perform IV starts and blood draws in accordance with unit protocols
• Assist with TPT placements and other unit-specific procedures
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary night shift team including Intensivists and Respiratory Therapists
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech / CPN EMR systems

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital PICU experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current PALS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT)
• APHON certification or oncology pediatric nursing experience
• Prior experience in a pediatric teaching hospital environment
