American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab position requiring 2+ years of EP Lab experience and Epic proficiency. Requirements Active OH or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of EP Lab nursing experience required Epic EMR experience required Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program Skilled in EP procedures including Cardiac Mapping, Cardiac Ablation, Cardioversion, and AICD insertion/programming 2 professional references required, with at least 1 from a Manager/Director or formal leadership role; Charge RN acceptable for second reference; coworker references not accepted Responsibilities Work in the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab of a hospital setting 4x10-hour day shifts, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM On-call requirement of 1 week every 2 months Performs specialized procedures including Cardiac Implant Closure Device, Pacemaker/Defibrillator lead extraction/removal, Arrhythmia Induction, Baseline Measurements, Cardiac Ablation, Cardiac Mapping, Cardioversion, Conduction Studies, Insertion/Programming of AICDs, Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) Closure, and Pacemaker Insertion Uses Epic EMR system Perform electrophysiology procedures including arrhythmia induction, cardiac mapping, ablation, and device insertion/programming First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates are accepted at the same rate RTO must be requested and built into the contract prior to submission, limited to 7 days or less Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more Current employees of Ohio State University hospital locations are ineligible to be hired as travelers Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting requirements promptly upon signing contract Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Job ID: P-727925 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler
