Senior Business Analyst for DBHDS

Location: Richmond, VA. Required to be on-site two days a week. Parking not provided. Local candidates within 100 miles or a 2-hour drive are preferred. In-person interviews for local candidates, virtual interviews for those outside the specified distance.

Role involves supporting the design and implementation of a new Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and data exchange. The project involves replacing the existing data warehouse with a new cloud-based architecture. The role requires coordination with internal and external stakeholders to gather and document requirements. Responsibilities include creating data dictionaries, documenting report requirements, and understanding current business processes. The role also involves overseeing quality assurance processes to ensure the delivered solutions meet business requirements and adhere to data governance and security standards.

Required skills include intermediate to advanced SQL querying skills and experience with data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence. Excellent communication skills and the ability to take initiative and ownership over work are necessary.
