Advanced Piano Teacher - Melody Academy of Music (Fremont, CA)

About the Position Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional advanced piano instructor to teach part-time at Melody Academy of Music. The instructor will primarily teach private lessons from the Fremont location, with optional other locations. Ability to teach other instruments is a plus. Instructors must work IN PERSON. Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in piano performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check. Experience with Certificate of Merit and/or ABRSM exams preferred. Compensation and Benefits Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $45-50/hour for private lessons, and a base rate of $50 per hour for group classes. A 401(K) program with employer matching is available to all employees after 90 days on the job. Health benefits options are available for all part- and full-time employees at Ensemble. Location Melody Academy of Music has three locations in the Bay Area: Palo Alto, Cupertino, and Fremont.
