Overview
Cardiovascular Technologist I (OR CVOR Tech) – Austell, GA, United States. This travel - temporary assignment starts 08/24/2026 for 13 contract weeks in a hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $1,681 to $1,747 per week with 0.0 guaranteed hours. Shift is days, 12-hour shifts (36 hours per week). This role focuses on supporting diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiovascular procedures, with training provided to work alongside physicians in the cath lab/EP lab.

Responsibilities
- Assist during diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab/EP lab, under supervision, and operate specialized equipment as trained.
- Maintain sterile technique and infection control standards throughout procedures; prepare and assist with instrument handling and room setup.
- Collaborate with the Cath_EP Lab Manager/Director to maintain a safe, efficient environment for adult and geriatric patients.
- Participate in cath or EP call rotation once appropriately oriented and checked off on clinical and operational competencies.
- Support documentation of procedural steps and contribute to equipment turnover and patient safety initiatives as assigned.

Requirements
- The Cardiovascular Technologist I works with training to assist during diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiovascular procedures; prior cath lab or interventional experience is not required initially.
- Willingness to complete orientation and achieve competency check-offs before participating in call rotation.
- Ability to care for adults 18–65 and geriatric patients over 65.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States and capable of working the listed shift in a hospital setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on sterile technique and patient safety.
