Job Title Automotive Technician / Mechanic Location 16141 Metcalf Ave. Overland Park, KS 66085 (Coming Soon!) Job Overview We are looking for technicians / mechanics who are energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude. They must seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what’s right for our guests. Responsibilities Use knowledge and skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for guests Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively Follow and promote high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate concerns Collaborate with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results Qualifications Positive attitude and a desire to serve guests 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic ASE certification preferred, or a plan to achieve it Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes and models of vehicles Meet or exceed hourly goals Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes Professional appearance and strong communication skills Desire for long-term career development Physical Requirements Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above the head Work in tight spaces as dictated by vehicle repair needs Have needed dexterity to efficiently use hand tools Walk/stand for the majority of the workday Drive manual transmission vehicles Navigate a computer efficiently Additional Information Christian Brothers Automotive (CBA) began in 1982 with the simple premise of providing precision auto repair with transparency, integrity and a philosophy of people first.
