- Identify, develop, and generate new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, carriers, shippers, and receivers.
- Coordinate freight shipments and manage customer transportation needs.
- Negotiate rates with customers and freight carriers.
- Assist account managers with daily operations and business development.
- Help expand the company's Full Truckload (FTL) business.
- Serve as a liaison between customers, carriers, shippers, and receivers.
- Troubleshoot shipping issues and develop effective solutions.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain long-term business relationships.
- Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable making frequent phone calls and communicating with new people.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and results-driven.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to learn logistics systems and transportation operations.
- Experience in logistics, freight brokerage, transportation, sales, dispatching, or account management is a plus.
