Spaulding Outpatient Center Framingham has an opening for a full-time speech pathologist. Responsible for assessing, diagnosing, treating, and helping prevent speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, fluency, and other related disorders. Does this position require patient care? Yes.

Essential functions include providing guidance and mentorship to junior speech pathologists and other healthcare professionals, conducting comprehensive assessments to identify communication and swallowing disorders in patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, providing therapy to patients with various communication and swallowing disorders, monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed, communicating with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and treatment plans, and maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.

Qualifications include a master's degree in speech language pathology, a speech-language pathologist state license, and a certificate of clinical competence in speech-language pathology. Speech pathology experience of 2-3 years is required, and acute hospital experience of 2-3 years is preferred.

Physical requirements include standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, gross manipulation, fine manipulation, feeling, talking, hearing, and vision.

Remote type is onsite work location at 570 Worcester Road. Scheduled weekly hours are 40. Employee type is regular. Work shift is day. Pay range is $90,084.80 - $117,696.80/annual grade 6.
