About the Role:
Brevard Armory LLC is looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Part-Time Gun Sales Associate to join our team in Melbourne, FL. If you love firearms, enjoy helping customers find the right product, and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, this is the opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting firearms, ammunition, and accessories based on their needs
- Process firearm transactions in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including ATF Form 4473
- Conduct NICS background checks accurately and efficiently
- Maintain product knowledge on handguns, rifles, shotguns, and related gear
- Ensure proper merchandising, inventory organization, and display of firearms and accessories
- Provide exceptional customer service and build lasting relationships with gun enthusiasts and first-time buyers alike
- Assist with receiving, logging, and tagging new inventory
Requirements:
- Must be 18+ years of age and legally eligible to handle firearms
- Prior firearms retail or gun shop experience strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of federal and Florida state firearms laws and regulations
- Familiarity with ATF compliance, Form 4473, and NICS background check procedures
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible part-time schedule including weekends
- Passion for firearms, hunting, shooting sports, or self-defense a plus
