Job Title

Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Neurology)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (3x12-Hour Shifts, 7:00–19:00) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit with a primary focus on neurology and neurosurgery patients
• Monitor and assess patients using the NIH Stroke Scale and other neurology-specific clinical tools

• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4, delivering safe and effective nursing care throughout each shift
• Float between units as needed based on staffing and patient census requirements
• Document all patient care accurately and in a timely manner using Epic electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Valid Washington State RN license or active Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Demonstrated experience in telemetry nursing
• Comfort and familiarity with the NIH Stroke Scale and care of neurology and neurosurgery patients
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Ability to work every other weekend as required by the schedule
• Willingness to float to sister facilities nearby the contracted location as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Level II Trauma Center or acute care hospital setting
• Background working in a teaching hospital environment
• Experience with neurosurgery patient populations in addition to neurology
