Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years in Operating Room nursing with Level 1 or 2 Trauma experience License: Active RN license required prior to start Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Highly skilled in General, Neuro, Vascular, Ortho, GYN, and ENT surgery Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. Candidates must have experience in Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma. The position provides an opportunity to work in a fast-paced surgical environment. Knowledge of standard surgical equipment is essential. Experience with EPIC charting is required. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:1. Availability every other weekend is required. Candidates must be comfortable with a variety of surgical specialties. The facility includes 15 operating rooms, with specific rooms for procedures and trauma. All personal protective equipment and scrubs will be provided. Travelers are expected to fulfill weekend commitments. Former permanent staff must have a minimum absence of 6 months before returning in a travel capacity. Modules must be completed annually through designated training platforms. This role requires flexibility and the ability to float as needed within nursing scope. Candidates may request time off, with restrictions on weekends and holidays. The position involves critical care for diverse patient age groups, from neonates to geriatrics. Daily operations include collaboration with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care. Only candidates meeting the experience and licensing criteria will be considered.
