Title: Finisher Company: Global Power Components – Location: Milwaukee, WI (onsite 5-days/week) Hire Type: Temp-to-Hire (3+ months) Shift Details 1st Shift: 5am - 1:30pm CT (Monday to Friday) – eligible for OT 2nd Shift: 4pm – 12:30am CT (Monday to Friday) – eligible for OT Overview Global Power Components is a privately held, growing manufacturer of UL steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housing fully equipped electrical distribution and control equipment. Global Power Components is a privately held, financially sound, growing manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures, and modular metal enclosures for housing fully-equipped electrical distribution and control equipment. We are seeking Enclosure Finishers to work in our Enclosure department to assist in the building of steel/metal enclosures. Responsibilities Working as a team to construct steel/metal enclosures (basically a large metal 'house') Installing walls, floors, ceilings and roofs Mounting louvers, doors and various electrical equipment Requirements Knowledge of materials, methods and hand/power tools involved in construction Able to read measuring devices, such as tape measure Able to read blueprints Able to troubleshoot and problem solve Must be highly motivated Able to communicate and work well with others Pay attention to details and have a strong drive to succeed Must pass competency test and pre-employment physical including drug screen Company Culture At Global Power Components, our mission is simple: Inov8OrDie Driven by this mindset, GPC has grown from 200 to more than 2,000 employees in just five years, expanding from one manufacturing facility to four locations across the Milwaukee area, including our new 500,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in West Milwaukee.
