Deposit Operations - Reconciliation Unit Supervisor

This position is responsible for the daily workflow of the Reconcilement, Regulation E, and Legal Units, including the supervision of employees, ensuring that tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner and consistent with the needs of the unit and the bank as a whole. Monitor the efficiency and accuracy of the workflow of the units. Report any issues to management. Ensure the timely and accurate completion of all legal information requests, subpoenas and Regulation E disputes in accordance with regulatory compliance standards. Develop and maintain relationships with various external vendors, including cash delivery channel representatives, various local and state regulatory departments, attorneys, and IOLA boards. Interview and hire new staff, resolve employee issues, provide coaching and disciplinary action when needed and complete evaluations. Work with various departments of the Bank to help ensure efficiency and productivity. Take ownership of personal performance, development and continuous improvement. Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, ensure ongoing adherence to pertinent policies and procedures, and meet all job-specific training requirements in a timely fashion. As an integral member of the Deposit Operations Department, this position is also responsible for providing assistance wherever necessary to help the Deposit Operations Department and the Bank in achieving their annual goals. Education, Training and Requirements: An Associate degree or equivalent with an emphasis in accounting, specialized deposit operations education and training, or equivalent experience in a similar regulated industry normally required. Skills andCompetencies: Proficient reading, writing, grammar and mathematical skills. Knowledge of the technical aspects of the deposit operations functions and knowledge of policies and procedures. Strong computer skills, to include Microsoft Office. Conflict resolution, collaboration skills and the ability to foster a positive and productive team environment.
