This role is responsible for maintaining clinical files and documents while maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.**Duties and Responsibilities*** Update and maintain patient medical records, including visit details, insurance and contact information.* Service patient after visit with appropriate paperwork, schedule follow-up appointment, send out medical records as requested, and answer any patient inquiries.* Work closely with clinical team lead to ensure smooth patient flow in the operational areas.* Maintain exam rooms to appropriate regulatory standards.* Maintain patient confidentiality.* Receive incoming phone calls and distribute messages appropriately.* Maintain fax machine, assist users, and retrieve and route incoming faxes.* Audit new patient charts.* Work as a team to replenish exam room and clinical supplies, including office supplies for designated area.* Maintain the chart files.* Assist providers with scheduling/appointment needs.* Perform other duties as assigned by manager.## Qualifications**Requirements and Qualifications*** Associates degree preferred; HS Diploma or GED required.* 1+ years medical office experience preferred.* 1+ years customer service experience required.**Physical Demands*** Manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination to enter data and operate office equipment.* Corrected vision and hearing within normal range to observe and communicate with patients, providers, and staff.* Frequently remaining in a stationary position, often sitting for prolonged periods working on a computer, telephone, copy/fax machine, and other office equipment.* Occasional standing and walking required.* Occasional lifting and carrying items weighing up to 10 pounds.*The pay range for this position is determined based on several factors, including the candidate’s years of experience, qualifications, training, licenses, designations, and the overall market conditions.**This job description does not state or imply that the duties and responsibilities listed are the only ones required of this position.
