Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 3+ years License: Current RN License in the state of Missouri Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS Must-Have: Team player, versatile, flexible, excellent communication skills Description: The Emergency Department Registered Nurse provides patient care utilizing the nursing process. The RN maintains professional accountability for the provision of patient care for assigned patients. The RN evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. The RN coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments. The RN maintains patient rights and the confidentiality of patient information. Education includes the completion of an accredited nursing program. Experience of at least 3 years is required. Certifications required include BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS. The position requires rotating weekend hours and call requirements. The candidate should be able to adapt to float requirements as needed.
