CONSTRUCTION ASSOCIATE/ ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT / FIELD MANAGER
Classification: Independent Contractor (Hourly, Bonus Eligible)

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Construction associate/assistant superintendent or field manager is responsible for the day-to-day execution of construction projects in the field, ensuring work is completed on time, within expected budget parameters, and to YGT’s quality standards. This role serves as the primary on-site leader and is accountable for project outcomes, including coordination of labor, subcontractors, materials, and communication with Management.

This position is structured as a growth-oriented role upon demonstrated performance. The role is designed for individuals who can successfully execute projects independently and scale to managing multiple projects and crews.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead day-to-day construction activities on residential projects

• Coordinate crews, subcontractors, materials, and schedules

• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards

• Communicate project progress, issues, and next steps with leadership

• Monitor labor and material usage to support project budgets

• Maintain professional, organized job sites

• Help plan project sequencing and coordinate subcontractor activities

• Build positive relationships with clients, vendors, and team members

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Previous construction, remodeling, or field leadership experience

• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

• Bilingual English-Spanish speaking

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain project schedules

• Experience coordinating subcontractors and trades preferred

• Ability to read plans and execute work according to project specifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

COMPENSATION & GROWTH

• Starting pay: $28+ per hour , based on experience
