Shift: Day shift, 08:00 AM 05:00 PM (5 days/week)

Employment Type: Contract/Locum
Licensure/Certs: KY Medical License, Board Certified in Gastroenterology
Experience: Minimum 2 years of GI practice, including ERCP and general GI procedures
Pay & Benefits
- Hourly Pay Rate: $5070.00

What You'll Do
- Provide outpatient clinic care Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Perform 12-14 general GI procedures daily, including endoscopies, colonoscopies, biopsies, and stent placements
- Conduct advanced procedures such as ERCP and esophageal dilation
- Manage urgent GI cases, including active bleeding and foreign body removal
- Participate in call coverage (shared with another provider, response within 30 mins for emergencies)
- Collaborate with support staff, including APPs, in a patient-centered, team environment
- Address procedural scope and workflow, ensuring high-quality patient care
What You Need
Required:- Valid Kentucky medical license or eligible for licensing
- Board certified in Gastroenterology (AOBOG/ABOG)
- At least 2 years of GI practice experience
- Ability to perform ERCP and general GI procedures
- BLS, ACLS certifications
- Prior experience in a hospital setting with high-volume procedural work
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
