Project Engineer

Job Description

Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc. (MRA) is currently seeking a Project Engineer to join our team in our Georgetown, DE office. This position is responsible for hands-on design and support of land development projects.

Key Responsibilities

Lead site design for commercial and residential projects, focusing on grading, Stormwater Management (SWM),and Erosion & Sediment Control (ESC).
Produce comprehensive construction documents and technical reports utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Coordinate directly with regulatory agencies to navigate and secure necessary project permits.
Manage project schedules and deliverables for multiple simultaneous developments.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex engineering challenges during the planning and design phases.

Requirements

B.S. in Civil Engineering
PE license preferred
5-10 years of experience in land development (Stormwater Management (SWM), Storm Drain, Grading, Erosion & Sediment Control (ESC) Design)
Water resources experience preferred
Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously , including schedules and permitting coordination
Proficiency in AutoCAD required (Civil 3D preferred).
Experience working with regulatory agencies and permitting preferred
