Hotel Housekeeper

Do you love transforming spaces into spotlessly clean sanctuaries? We're hiring a professional housekeeper to help us ensure our hotel guests have a wonderful stay with us. You'll perform basic cleaning duties like changing sheets, mopping, dusting, cleaning guest bathrooms and; you'll also restock supplies. Job seekers should be personable, organized, and enjoy working on a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
• Change bed linens, make beds, and replace towels and toiletries
• Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust furniture
• Replenish room supplies and amenities
• Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to management
• Follow hotel cleanliness and sanitation standards at all times
• Ensure carts and storage areas are organized and stocked
• Assist with laundry duties as needed
• Provide friendly and courteous service to guests when encountered
• Document rooms cleaned, and report lost and found items and any damage or repairs needed
• Vacuum, mop, make beds, dust and polish furniture, stock rooms with toiletries, and do laundry as needed
• Answer general questions from guests
• Maintain common spaces including the hotel lobby, corridors, and public restrooms
• Ensure guest rooms are clean and tidy according to our hotel's standards before guests arrive

Qualifications

• Must be dependable and punctual
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
• Prior housekeeping experience is a plus, but not required (we will train the right candidate)
• Impeccable work ethic and excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Good understanding of cleaning techniques and products
• Graduated high school, received G.E.D or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience as a professional housekeeper preferred
