Crew Leaders play a critical role in execution, safety, and culture — setting the tone onsite and ensuring work is done right the first time.The RoleThe Crew Leader is a working field leader responsible for directing day-to-day activities of assigned crew members while actively participating in the work. This role ensures tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with TCE standards and project requirements.Crew Leaders are expected to lead by example, support their teams, and communicate clearly with supervisors and Project Management.What You’ll DoField Leadership & ExecutionLead daily jobsite activities and assign tasks to crew membersWork hands-on alongside the crew performing telecom, tower, civil, or infrastructure workEnsure work is completed according to plans, scopes of work, and schedulesServe as the primary onsite point of contactSafety, Quality & ComplianceEnforce TCE safety standards, OSHA requirements, and jobsite protocolsLead daily tailgate meetings and ensure JHAs are completedEnsure proper use of PPE and safe work practicesIdentify and address hazards, unsafe conditions, or quality issues immediatelyCrew Support & DevelopmentSupport training and development of crew membersPromote teamwork, accountability, and professionalismProvide feedback to supervisors on crew performance and needsHelp build a positive, respectful jobsite cultureCommunication & CoordinationCommunicate job progress, issues, and material needs to supervisorsCoordinate with other crews, subcontractors, and site contactsSupport documentation, photos, and daily reporting as requiredWhat You Need to Be a Fit5+ years of telecom, tower, civil, or infrastructure experiencePrior experience leading or mentoring field crewsStrong understanding of jobsite safety and field executionAbility to read basic drawings, plans, and scopes of workStrong communication and problem-solving skillsWillingness to travel and work in outdoor environmentsValid driver’s licenseIdeal BackgroundTelecom tower, civil, microwave, or infrastructure constructionExperience serving as a Lead Tech, Foreman, or senior crew memberRespected field presence with strong safety awarenessComfortable balancing hands-on work with leadership responsibilitiesPay & BenefitsMarket pay range: $30–$38 per hour, based on experience and leadership scopeOvertime and travel pay as applicableEXCELLENT benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and supplemental coveragePaid time off and holidaysWhy TCECrew Leaders are trusted and supportedClear expectations and strong operational backingOpportunity to grow into Foreman, Construction Manager, or Operations rolesCulture focused on safety, accountability, and quality workAt TCE, Crew Leaders set the standard on the jobsite — for safety, teamwork, and execution. #J-18808-Ljbffr Tower Communications Expert
