The role manages the store, runs the teller side, handles platform tasks, and manages customer escalations. Responsibilities include driving sales and advice activities and creating personalized, connected experiences for customers. Depth & Scope Provides supervisory oversight to a team of advice and service colleagues to meet store objectives and deliver legendary customer experiences. Delivers day‑to‑day team leadership and work direction for personalized and complex service and advice activities while maintaining compliance. Monitors teller workflows, prioritizes tasks, and delegates duties. Focuses on short‑term goals with low to moderate risk. Communicates bank operational policies, sets expectations, and educates the team on risk management. Drives operational excellence, including cash handling, vault management, fraud prevention, expense control, and customer privacy. Engages customers on loan products, facilitates applications, and maintains NMLS registration. Leads, develops, and coaches the team on customer service, product and advice conversations, improving the overall experience. Uses customer relationship tools and education to support the consultative approach and end‑to‑end advice. Acquires and deepens the store's customer base through proactive sales and lead generation. Manages self‑generated leads, partner referral leads, outreach calls, SMS, appointments, and lead prioritization. Education & Experience HS Diploma or GED required; undergraduate degree preferred. 2+ years of customer or sales experience in any capacity (or equivalent). Notary License (preferred). Supervisory or coaching experience with customer service. Proven ability to exceed customer expectations. Strong organizational skills for fast‑paced multitasking. Effective verbal and written communication. Sound judgment in decision making and problem solving. Ability to multitask, supervise, and lead others. Working knowledge of Outlook, Lotus Notes, Word, and Excel. Ability to provide community services. Customer Accountabilities Deliver end‑to‑end advice: building trust, providing consultative support, and offering proactive insights. Provide consultative advice and coach the store team in product knowledge. Lead and coach for exceptional service at every customer interaction. Complete transactions and use CRM tools for needs‑based conversations. Represent TD as first point of contact for inquiries and escalations. Execute the store customer experience plan while ensuring operational excellence. Coach colleagues on appropriate customer issue handling and resolution guidelines. Maintain optimal scheduling to meet customer demand and compliance. Ensure a professional and inviting lobby space in compliance with regulations. Collaborate with TD partners to serve customers in the best channel. Handle a range of transactions from routine to advanced, including cashing checks, large withdrawals, deposits, and loan payments. Shareholder Accountabilities Knowledge of operational systems and databases. Mandatory vault management responsibilities: auditing, reporting, and balancing. Process management and operational function understanding. Plan, organize, and coordinate daily branch activities and resolve operational issues. Oversight of administrative duties and approval of financial transactions. Ensure cash control procedures and fraud prevention policies are followed. Apply operating policies and procedures to support operational excellence. Contribute to business objectives and continuous improvement initiatives. Escalate high‑risk transactions or non‑standard activities as needed. Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with regulations. Support and participate in process improvement opportunities. OCC Language This position is a Loan Originator as defined under Regulation Z of the Truth in Lending Act and the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008. Eligible for registration with the NMLS in accordance with the SAFE Act. Requirements include a criminal background check and credit report check, with certification from the applicant regarding any background findings.
