CDL Driver

Insight Global is seeking a CDL driver in Morristown, IN. Will be utilizing company trucks, mainly flatbed and Conestoga trucks, occasionally oversized trucks.
Must be able to start days at 7AM for first route.

Will drive locally to Indianapolis neighborhoods or Cincinnati or Columbus, occasionally to Louisville. Will be transporting lumber and trusses.

Key Responsibilities
- Transporting Goods: Safely drive commercial vehicles to deliver cargo or transport passengers according to schedules and customer requirements.
- Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, check brakes, tires, lights, and other mechanical components, and report any issues.
- Loading and Unloading Cargo: Assist with unloading, and securing cargo to prevent damage during transit.
- Route Planning and Navigation: Plan efficient routes using GPS or maps, considering traffic, weather, and road conditions.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of hours driven, mileage, fuel usage, delivery confirmations, and other regulatory paperwork

Required Skills & Experience
- Must possess a valid class A or class B commercial driver's license (CDL) for the type of vehicle to be driven.
- Must have a satisfactory safety and work record, be medically certified as physically qualified, and be qualified through the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
- Must have a minimum of 12 consecutive months within the past 36 months of current and verifiable driving experience in the type of vehicle to be driven
