Scientist I, Large Molecule Bioanalysis LC-MS

Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize hybrid LC-MS/MS and LC-HRMS methods for protein and peptide quantitation
- Support bioanalysis of samples from preclinical pharmacokinetic and toxicokinetic studies
- Perform immunoprecipitation, protein digestion, and surrogate peptide quantitation workflows
- Conduct intact protein analysis, peptide mapping, and bottom-up mass spectrometry analysis
- Document results, analyze data, and contribute to method improvements and biotransformation assessments
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field
- 2+ years of hands-on bioanalysis or mass spectrometry experience in industry
- Demonstrated experience with LC-MS analysis of proteins or peptides in biological matrices
- Proficiency with hybrid LC-MS, immunoaffinity enrichment, protein digestion, and high-resolution MS
- Experience developing peptide/protein quantitation bioanalytical methods
- Familiarity with software such as Skyline, Analyst, TraceFinder, Chromeleon, or BioPharma Finder preferred
Compensation: $89,800-$123,000 base annually, plus 20% target bonus and equity participation
