Position Summary

The ECC Clinical Supervisor provides clinic-based and school-based therapeutic services to children and families presenting with a wide range of behavioral health needs and clinical diagnoses. This position combines direct clinical work with administrative and clinical supervision responsibilities.

The ECC Clinical Supervisor delivers individual and family therapy, parent skills training, risk assessments, crisis intervention, trauma-informed treatment, case management, and advocacy services. The role collaborates closely with schools, DCF, primary care providers, and other community partners to ensure comprehensive care for children and families.

In addition to providing direct services, the ECC Clinical Supervisor oversees staff development, clinical documentation, quality assurance activities, and utilization review processes while contributing to program development and agency-wide initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Direct Clinical Services

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and engage children and families in treatment.
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, family, and parent-focused therapeutic interventions.
• Complete discharge planning and coordinate referrals to community-based supports.
• Deliver case management and care coordination services.
• Conduct risk assessments and crisis intervention as needed.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with agency, licensing, accreditation, Medicaid, and DCF standards.
• Meet established productivity and client contact hour expectations.

Clinical Supervision & Leadership

• Provide clinical and administrative supervision to staff and interns.
• Support employee onboarding, professional development, performance evaluation, and ongoing coaching.
• Participate in individual supervision, group supervision, clinical rounds, and department meetings.
• Monitor supervisee productivity, clinical practice, and documentation standards.
• Assist in implementing programmatic and agency priorities, policies, and initiatives.
• Participate in Quality Assurance and Utilization Review activities.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop and improve policies, procedures, workflows, and service delivery strategies.

Team & Community Collaboration

• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary clinical team.
• Coordinate services with DCF, schools, primary care providers, and community partners.
• Identify service gaps and help develop solutions to meet client needs.
• Participate in agency committees, task forces, and special projects.
• Represent The Village in community groups and professional networks.
• Pursue ongoing training and implementation of evidence-based treatment models.

Experience and Skills
Education

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or a related clinical field.

Experience & Requirements

• Active Connecticut clinical licensure required (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent).
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with children and families.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Bilingual and bicultural candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
