Job Description

As a Security Officer Hospital Access Control in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a healthcare location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with directions and reporting unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports related to incidents, observations, and patrol activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED, as required by the client.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
