Location Redondo Beach, CA Position Principal Engineer Circuit Design / Senior Principal Engineer Circuit Design Responsibilities Designing, analyzing, and testing high‑reliability power and control electronics Conduct circuit design, analysis, and simulations Perform hardware testing and validation Provide manufacturing test support on deliverable hardware Qualifications This requisition may be filled at either a Principal Engineer Circuit Design or Senior Principal Engineer Circuit Design level based on the qualifications listed below. Basic Qualifications: Principal Engineer Circuit Design Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of experience, or 3 years of experience with a Master's degree or 1 year of relevant experience with a PhD Experience designing and testing analog and power circuits Proficiency with PSpice or Simplis/Simetrix or LTSpice and MathCAD Knowledge of control systems and feedback theory Ability to obtain and maintain an SSBI/SCI security clearance Basic Qualifications: Senior Principal Engineer Circuit Design Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university and 8 years of experience, or 6 years of experience with a Master's degree or 4 years of relevant experience with a PhD Experience designing and testing analog and power circuits Proficiency with PSpice or Simplis/Simetrix or LTSpice and MathCAD Knowledge of control systems and feedback theory Ability to obtain and maintain an SSBI/SCI security clearance Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Control Systems or Communications and 5 years of engineering experience in an aerospace environment Active In‑scope DoD Top Secret or SSBI/SCI clearance Experience in power converters/electronics development Experience in Earned Value Management Systems Please be aware that this position is contingent upon capturing program award(s) and obtaining and maintaining associated business and/or customer funding. Salary Primary Level Salary Range: $114,000.00 – $171,000.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $142,200.00 – $213,400.00 Benefits Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus, long‑term incentives (for VP/Director), health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company‑paid holidays and paid time off for vacation or personal business.
