ER RN – EMERGENCY NURSING
Schedule - Shifts: 3 x 12-hour nights - Weekend Requirement: Every other week
Assignment Details - Contract Length: 13 weeks
Requirements - Minimum 1 year RN experience required - First-time travelers accepted with 1 year RN experience and Epic experience - Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC - Epic documentation experience required - Experience in large facility and trauma preferred
Roles & Responsibilities - Provide emergency care to patients of all ages, including neonates and geriatrics - Conduct triage and manage patient flow in the emergency department - Care for ventilated patients and interpret arterial blood gases - Manage and monitor IV vasopressors and continuous IV sedation - Interpret and manage dysrhythmias - Adhere to isolation precautions and manage multisystem organ dysfunction
Compliance / Notes - Compact license must be in hand at submission; pending licenses accepted with preference for quick starts - 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required - Facility does not accept background "hits" - 24-hour orientation provided - Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, NYE, New Year's Day)
