Role Description The Assistant Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Manhattan, NY. This role supports daily store operations, including supervising staff, overseeing opening and closing procedures, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment. The Assistant Store Manager helps drive sales by coaching team members, ensuring excellent customer service, and promoting product knowledge. Responsibilities include monitoring inventory, supporting visual merchandising, assisting with scheduling, and enforcing store policies and procedures. The role also focuses on resolving customer concerns, supporting loss prevention efforts, and collaborating with the Store Manager on achieving performance goals. Qualifications Strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, with a focus on creating positive in-store experiences. Effective Communication skills for interacting with customers, team members, and management. Experience in Store Management, including supervision of staff and coordination of daily operations. Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices to help protect inventory and reduce shrink. Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or food and beverage environments. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move products, and work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
