Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the emergency department, including triage, assessment, and ongoing monitoring of acuity.
- Administer medications and oversee treatments per physician orders; assist with procedures as needed.
- Monitor vital signs, interpret data, recognize deterioration, and intervene promptly to ensure patient safety.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialty teams, and support staff to develop and implement care plans.
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately; communicate with patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions.

Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of California
- At least two years of recent ER nursing experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required; TNCC preferred
- Ability to work 3x12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) and meet guaranteed hours
- Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced ER environment and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
