Job Details Position: ER Registered Nurse (Emergency Department RN) Location: Bridgeport, WV 26330 Setting: Emergency Department / ER Employment Type: Travel Nursing Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 09/14/2026 Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts Shift Schedule: Days, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Shifts Per Week: 3 Hours Per Week: 36 Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,570 - $1,650 Schedule Notes: Weekdays, every other weekend, and holidays; no call, charge, or float Charting System: Cerner Patient Ratio: 4:1 Orientation: 24 hours Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse license in West Virginia Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications NIHSS and TNCC certification required At least 2 years of emergency department experience Prior travel nursing experience required Strong experience with triage, IV starts, and emergency care workflows Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, fast-paced Emergency Room environment First-time travelers are not accepted Responsibilities Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to patients across all age groups in the Emergency Department Perform triage, assess patient conditions, and prioritize care in a fast-paced ER setting Start and maintain IVs, administer medications, and support emergency interventions Care for patients with trauma, respiratory distress, stroke symptoms, cardiac events, and behavioral health needs Collaborate with providers and support services to ensure efficient, coordinated patient care Monitor patient status, document accurately in Cerner, and respond quickly to changing clinical needs Support a patient-centered environment while maintaining calm and professional communication under pressure Why Bridgeport, West Virginia?
