Commercial HVAC Project Manager

Location: Based in North Canton, OH

Reports To: COO and Ownership

Salary Range: $80,000 – $120,000 (Negotiable based on experience)

With a commitment to quality, reliability, and excellence, we are looking to expand our leadership team with a highly motivated Commercial HVAC Project Manager to oversee our growing portfolio of commercial construction projects.

• Position Summary The Commercial HVAC Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of HVAC operations on commercial construction sites. This role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and up to the company’s quality standards. The individual will serve as a critical liaison between field personnel, suppliers, leadership, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Oversight:

o Lead and manage all commercial HVAC installation projects from start to finish.

o Conduct job site visits regularly to monitor progress, safety, and quality.

o Ensure work aligns with design specifications, codes, and client expectations.

• Team Coordination:

o Collaborate with project foremen and field teams to ensure seamless workflow.

o Support and mentor foremen, offering guidance and technical expertise.

• Material Procurement:

o Order ductwork and other essential HVAC materials in coordination with vendors.

o Track delivery schedules and maintain supply chain efficiency.

• Project Scheduling:

o Develop, maintain, and update job schedules in coordination with project stakeholders.

o Ensure deadlines are met and communicate any scheduling issues promptly.

• Budget Management:

o Track job costing and project budgets closely.

o Identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate overruns.

• Reporting & Communication:

o Provide regular updates to the COO and ownership regarding job progress, issues, and milestones.

o Prepare and present project reports, timelines, and financial summaries.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary: $80,000 – $120,000 (DOE, negotiable)

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in commercial HVAC project management or related field

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, and commercial construction processes

• Proven ability to lead field crews and communicate effectively with stakeholders

• Experience with job costing, budgeting, and material procurement

• Proficient in project management software and scheduling tools

• OSHA certification is a plus

• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed
