Associate - Capstone Partners' Market Intelligence/Lead Generation

Overview Capstone Partners is seeking an Associate on the Market Intelligence/Lead Generation team to conduct research and author outbound market intelligence reports. The reports support Capstone’s business development and brand recognition, and are distributed to thousands of business owners, alliance partners, private equity groups, and news outlets. Duties and Responsibilities Publish market intelligence reports, articles, and surveys. Lead primary research projects, including proprietary surveys. Analyze micro and macro‑economic trends for M&A impact. Write research reports and articles for external publication. Collaborate with Lead Generation Services and Banking Teams. Support senior team members on project execution. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Economics, Finance, English, or Business. 2+ years of experience in business writing, market research, economic reporting, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail, strong research and critical‑thinking abilities. Self‑motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to manage multiple projects against deadlines. Strong work ethic, integrity, discretion, and confidentiality. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience with Capital IQ, FactSet, or PitchBook (a plus). Authorized to work in the United States and able to pass an FBI background check with fingerprinting. Compensation and Benefits Annual Salary: $75,000–$85,000, plus incentive compensation and a benefits package that includes health insurance, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave, paid holidays, and paid time off.
