Opportunities for involvement in teaching, leadership, and quality improvement initiatives are strongly supported.Job DutiesFaculty members are expected to demonstrate competency in each of the following areas:Join, develop and market the Baylor MedicineEvaluate new and existing patients in the Dermatology outpatient clinicMeet productivity benchmarks established by Baylor College of MedicineParticipate in all routine clinical meetings held with the immediate work groupPotentially serve as Associate Program Director for the Dermatology Resident Program, assisting with administration, curriculum development, and program oversight in alignment with ACGME and GME standardsMaintain required certifications and licensingBecome familiar with Electronic Medical Record system, enter data into EMR, and develop a level of competency to document all patient encountersComplete all documentation in a timely mannerOrders for diagnostic services and referrals to specialistsBe an active member of a clinical group practice, including educational activities such as participate in lectures, monthly faculty meetings & retreatsMeet or exceed all quality indicatorsMaintain professionalism in relationships with students, faculty, ancillary and administrative staffAll professional billing and appropriate credentialing paperwork must be completed/renewed well ahead of their expirationMinimum QualificationsMinimum Education: M.DMinimum Job Experience: Experience in Dermatology is preferred.
