Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Schedule: Days (06:00), 3 x 12-hour shifts

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate direct clinical care for assigned patients during each shift.
- Supervise and delegate appropriate care to clinical staff.
- Collaborate with the facility's leadership to ensure high-quality and safe nursing care.
- Manage resources effectively related to patient care.
- Maintain competency in clinical practices and support the development of staff.

Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation is on the first day at 7 AM.
- Do not use the hospital parking; staff parking is available at a nearby location.
- HR office hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
- Patient ratios: 3:1 for step-down units and 4:1 for telemetry units.
- Responsibility for patient care falls on the nurses, not CNAs.
