Test Coordinator

Works with stakeholders to get agreement on scope and responsibilities of testing. Ensure that identified testing windows are timely, appropriate, and clear of other activity. Develop, communicate and implement the Test Plan ensuring project specifications are met, the test team has been ramped up, and updates are communicated to test team. Advise the UAT Test Manager of anticipated scope increases or other unplanned events that may impact the project. Identify and escalate to the Project Manager and/or Test Manager any risks or issues that may affect the quality of a product or impact milestone deliverables completion. Ensure that the testers are maintaining traceability in the test management tool. Act as the liaison for interfacing project and supporting teams in relation to test data and support. Raises issues to stakeholders including potentially suspending testing when failure rate exceeds 35% during a test session for an individual software Build, Sprint, or Release. Keep the UAT Test Manager and Stakeholders informed on the progress of testing and logged defects. Provide on-boarding and ramp up activities of newer test team members. Prioritize test activities (as required). Verify the validity and quality of the defects entered by the team. Host Triage meetings (as required). Prepare the Test Summary Report. Prepare weekly test progress reporting to Project stakeholders. Participate in JADs/requirements/design sessions (as required). Ensure that the protocol for coordination with project teams is always adhered to.

Test Analyst

Follow all testing processes defined in the Test Strategy and subordinate Test Plans. Attend requirements and design workshops to understand testing needs from Design. Attend application build reviews to understand Build items and plan testing. Assist with development of Test Cases. Assist with the execution of Test Cases. Assist with logging and tracking of defects including suggest initial priority/severity. Retest addressed defects previously raised and document the outcome of the retest. Ensure traceability is maintained. Participate in review of Test Cases. Attend Triage meetings (as required).

Required Skills: Must have: • Experience creating Test Plans • Proven experience doing Test Coordination • Need to be senior level • Experience communicating with business and IT teams • Stressful project with high visibility – Manager will deal with the politics, wants them to focus on the work at hand o Need to brush this off and be professional Basic Qualification: Project: Been going on for 4 or 5 years, into last year of it. Did an assessment, and found out they are lacking a testing coordinator. Application deals with workers comp (.NET based), and currently working on the federal requirements. As they test, they go back in to recode, and then things are breaking. Responsibilities: • What can we put in place that is value added? • Test plans • Regression testing • Work with testers and business team • Some test scenarios • Azure DevOps for tracking • High level planning, not as hands on in actual testing • Training plans • Help develop test cases Additional Skills: Project: Been going on for 4 or 5 years, into last year of it.
