Pride Health is hiring a Patient Access Team Lead to support our client's healthcare facility in Penn Yan, NY.

Job Details:

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 5x8-hour shifts scheduled between 6:30 AM–4:30 PM.

Location: Penn Yan, NY – 14527 .

Float / Coverage Area:

Job Type: Local contract

Contract Length: 13-week contract (Possible extension)

Pay Range: $25.00 to $28.00/hour*

*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Duties:

\n
• Oversee daily patient registration and access operations.
\n
• Train staff on procedures, policies, cash collection, and compliance requirements.
\n
• Monitor staff performance, productivity, accuracy, and registration quality.
\n
• Ensure timely referrals and authorizations and accurate patient information.
\n
• Minimize claim denials, revenue loss, and registration errors.
\n
• Identify process improvements and support departmental goals.
\n
• Collaborate with billing, scheduling, laboratory, care management, and other departments.
\n
• Maintain confidentiality and promote professional, respectful patient service.
\n

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma/equivalent required; Bachelor's preferred.
\n
• License(s):N/A

• Certification(s): N/A
\n
• Years of experience:
\n
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Patient Access or Patient Financial Services.
\n
• Knowledge of insurance requirements, medical terminology, CPT, and ICD-10.
\n
• Experience with front-end collections and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Previous leadership experience preferred.
\n
• Skills/Specialties/Technology:
\n
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
\n
• Ability to handle confidential information and work effectively with the public.
\n
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
\n
