Mechanical Engineer PeThe Mechanical Engineer PE applies standard engineering techniques to design, analyze, test, maintain, repair, or improve products, components, or assemblies.ResponsibilitiesApply standard engineering techniques to design, analyze, test, maintain, repair, or improve products, components, or assemblies.Sign and seal engineering documents as required for project approval and compliance.Analyze, develop, and evaluate engineering systems to ensure efficiency and safety.Improve and maintain current systems or create new projects from inception through implementation.Design and draft blueprints; visit systems in the field; manage and coordinate projects to meet deadlines.Apply engineering techniques and analyses within assigned scope, handling complex issues independently.Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to junior staff and team members.Act as a lead or first-level supervisor when necessary, ensuring project goals are achieved.Interact directly with clients to communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering and Professional Engineer (PE) License4-8 years of related engineering experienceExpert knowledge of engineering principles and practicesCritical thinking, problem-solving, and mathematic skillsStrong computer skills and technical expertiseEffective verbal and written communication abilitiesDetail-oriented and adaptable to fast-paced project environmentsExcellent multitasking skills, capable of managing multiple ongoing projectsSystem One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
