What You'll Do:

• Coordinate and assist providers in delivering healthcare services.
• Assist providers during exams and procedures
• Take vital signs, obtain medical histories
• Assist with patient form request ie FMLA or other needed forms.
• Prepare patients and exam rooms for treatment
• Ensure safe, quality, and cost-effective care for patients.
• Engage in teamwork and community involvement to enhance patient care.

What We're Looking For:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Certified Medical Assistant requirements: Graduate of Certified Medical Assistant program. Certifications allowed through American Association of Medical Assistants. Registered Medical Assistant requirements: Registry allowed through Association of Medical Technologists.
• Experience: Previous work in a medical setting, preferred
• Licensure/Certification: Current certification as CMA or RMA, required.

Additional Skills Required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific skills validation and competency testing.
