Part-Time | Home Health Aide

Schedule:

Position includes working every other weekend and every other holiday.

Available Shifts:

1. 6:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. (15 hours per pay period)
2. 2:30 p.m.-10:30 p.m. (37.5 hours per pay period)

Pay Range: $19.20 – $25.91 per hour (based on experience)

The Difference You’ll Make

1. Assist residents as a caregiver with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support
2. Support medication administration in accordance with training, policies, and resident care plans
3. Observe and report changes in residents’ physical, emotional, or behavioral condition to nursing staff
4. Document care provided accurately and timely in the electronic charting system
5. Provide companionship and meaningful engagement to support residents’ overall well-being
6. Collaborate with nurses and care team members to ensure safe, high-quality, person-centered care
7. Promote dignity, comfort, and independence for those we serve

Qualifications:

Education Preferred:

1. Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

Experience Required:

1. Previous experience as a Home Health Aide, Nursing Assistant, or caregiver

Preferred:

1. Experience as caregiver in assisted living, memory care, or senior living environments

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

1. Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment within scope
2. Strong reliability and professional work habits
3. Effective verbal and written communication skills
4. Ability to document care accurately and timely
5. Strong teamwork mindset and collaborative approach
6. Emotional maturity and ability to manage the physical and emotional demands of being a caregiver
