About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years required. License: Active compact license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS. Must-Have: Experience with managing ports required. Travel experience is required. Experience with pre-cardiac catheterization is required. Experience using EPIC charting system is required. Description: Locals within a 75-mile radius are accepted. Only one holiday can be permitted to request for time off. Shifts are 19:00 to 07:30, working three 12-hour shifts. Potential to accommodate block scheduling, but it is not guaranteed. Work will include four weekend shifts (two Saturdays and two Sundays in a six-week period), plus three Mondays and three Fridays. There will be a requirement to float between units as needed. Contractors will support patients requiring inpatient care. If there are not enough patients, floating to observation units may be needed. COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are required, with medical or religious exemptions only. No nose rings or gauged earrings are allowed. Nails must be less than 1/4 inch in length and natural, with polish acceptable. Scrubs must not have any agency or brand logos. Uniforms should be navy blue. The unit involves caring for patients in observation units and emergency departments. Contracted staff will care for patients waiting for beds. The team will include various interdisciplinary support services. Patients will typically be at a transitional care unit level or lower. This position will involve navigating specific protocols for patient care and management.
