Fleet Technician

Location: Arcadia, WI

Schedule:

  • Diesel Technician- 7 on/7 off 4am-430pm
  • Trailer Technician- Monday-Friday 7am-330pm

Pay: $24-$35.00/hr based on experience. Shift differentials and additional Certification incentives may apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, repair, and maintain diesel trucks and trailers to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.
  • Diagnose and fix diesel engine issues—from minor tune-ups to major overhauls.
  • Perform routine maintenance like oil changes, filter replacements, and brake inspections.
  • Troubleshoot and repair trailer systems, including brakes, suspension, lighting, and hydraulics.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and keep accurate maintenance records.
  • Work as part of a skilled team to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience as a diesel and/or trailer mechanic.
  • Strong knowledge of trailer systems, brakes, suspension, electrical, and hydraulics.
  • CDL or certifications are a plus but not required.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment—this isn’t a desk job.
  • A team player with a commitment to quality and safety.
